At Rad Kids OT, we meet children exactly where they are and help them grow, play, learn, and build the skills that last a lifetime.
Play-based · Evidence-driven · Family-centered
At Rad Kids Occupational Therapy, we believe every child has incredible potential and that the right support can unlock it.
We provide personalized, play-based occupational therapy services for children of all abilities. Whether your child is navigating sensory challenges, building fine motor skills, or developing independence in daily routines, our team is here to partner with your family every step of the way.
Our sessions are warm, fun, and always tailored to each child's unique strengths and goals because when kids enjoy what they're doing, that's when the best growth happens.
Kristin is the owner of Rad Kids Occupational Therapy. She earned her Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California's Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy and brings over 15 years of pediatric experience to the practice. While her early career included school-based practice, she has focused on clinic-based services with a deep specialization in sensory integration.
She holds certification in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests (SIPT) and has advanced training in Handwriting Without Tears, Zones of Regulation, and the Superflex curriculum, among others. Her approach blends clinical expertise with genuine warmth, creating sessions where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to grow.
Outside the clinic, Kristin is a mom of two who loves soaking up the beach life and spending time outdoors with her husband and kids.
Erin earned both her Master's and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from USC's Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. As a mother of two young boys, ages 4 and 6, she brings both professional expertise and a personal understanding of childhood development to every session.
Her practice centers on a play-based, sensory integrative approach that motivates and engages children as they build fine motor, gross motor, and social-emotional skills needed for everyday life. Erin has prior experience working in an outpatient pediatric clinic in Irvine, where she supported children with a wide range of developmental needs.
Outside of clinical practice, Erin volunteers at the Shea Therapeutic Riding Center in San Juan Capistrano, where she combines her love of child development, movement, and meaningful activity.
From evaluations to ongoing therapy, we provide a full range of pediatric OT services tailored to your child's individual needs and goals.
Comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to understand your child's strengths, challenges, and unique profile across all areas of development.
Individualized strategies and interventions to help children who are over- or under-responsive to sensory input feel comfortable and regulated.
Fun, hands-on activities to develop handwriting, drawing, cutting, and the precise hand movements needed for school and everyday life.
Tools and techniques to support planning, organization, attention, and self-regulation so kids can manage their day with more ease and confidence.
Building independence in activities like dressing, grooming, feeding, and self-care. The everyday skills that help children feel capable and proud.
Helping children recognize, understand, and manage their emotions through play-based strategies so they can navigate big feelings, transitions, and social situations with greater confidence and calm.
Guidance and support for caregivers to carry strategies into home, school, and community because the most impactful therapy happens everywhere.
We work with children of all ages, from infants through adolescents. Each child's therapy plan is tailored to their individual developmental stage and needs.
We are a private-pay practice and do not accept insurance directly. However, we can provide superbills upon request, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Sessions are 50 minutes, with a few minutes at the end reserved for parent feedback so you always know what we worked on and how to support your child at home.
Your child's first visit will be a comprehensive evaluation where we get to know their strengths, challenges, and goals. We'll observe how they play, move, and interact, and then work with you to create an individualized treatment plan.
If your child is struggling with things like handwriting, self-care tasks, sensory sensitivities, emotional regulation, attention, or coordination, OT may help. We offer a free 15-minute discovery call to help you figure out if OT is the right fit.
Most children attend sessions one to two times per week, but frequency depends on your child's individual needs and goals. We'll discuss a recommended schedule after the evaluation.
Yes! We offer parent coaching sessions for caregivers who want strategies and guidance to support their child's development at home, school, and in the community.
We are located at 3900 Birch St., Suite 103, Newport Beach, CA, inside Stepping Stones Therapy.
